The tribunal gave this order on Thursday. At the same time, September 16 has been fixed for the next hearing of the case.
Among the 11 arrested accused in the case, 10 were produced before the tribunal on Thursday. Journalist Farzana Rupa was not produced due to illness. Those present included former ministers Hasanul Haque Inu, Shamsul Haque Tuku, Abdur Razzaq, Dipu Moni and Abdul Latif Siddiqui, former IGP A K M Shahidul Haque, Major General Ziaul Ahsan, former DIG Abdul Jalil Mandal, Shahriar Kabir and Mozammel Haque Babu.
The prosecution said the 30 fugitive accused could not be found at their given addresses. For this reason, as part of the next process of the case, an order was given to publish notices in national dailies asking them to surrender.
On July 27, Tribunal-2 took cognizance of the formal charges submitted by the prosecution against 41 accused. At the same time, it ordered arrest warrants against the fugitive accused and the production of those arrested before the tribunal.
Two charges have been brought in the case. The first charge includes the incident of 32 people being killed at Shapla Chattar on May 5, 2013, and the second charge includes allegations of killings on May 6 in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj and various other places across the country.
