Sarjis reveals what happened at DB during the 2024 movement

In a recent interview, he said that DB police picked him and Hasnat Abdullah up from a house in Science Lab. Later, they were kept in separate rooms and subjected to various forms of psychological pressure, including not being allowed to sleep and being threatened with harm to their families, he claimed.

According to Sarjis, at one point the then DB chief Harun called them and asked them to read out a written statement. Later, a video was forcefully recorded with them. He also claimed that in that video a statement withdrawing the movement was given.

Sarjis said that people of the country understood that the video of withdrawing the movement, which was made after reading a few lines of written statement, was not given voluntarily.
