The number of deaths from measles and measles-like symptoms is increasing in the country. In the last 24 hours, four more people died from these diseases. With this, the death toll from measles and its symptoms since March 15 this year has risen to 991.
On Saturday, the Directorate General of Health Services said in a notice that 917 people were infected with measles and measles-like symptoms in the last one day. Of them, 843 were infected with suspected measles.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, so far 100 people have died of confirmed measles and 891 with measles-like symptoms. During the same period, the total number of suspected infections stood at 163,105.

From March 15 until now, 143,214 people have been admitted to various hospitals across the country with measles-like symptoms. Of them, 137,921 have recovered and returned home.
