Amina Begum (103), the affectionate mother of Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid, Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, has passed away. She breathed her last on Tuesday (8 September) at noon while undergoing treatment for old-age complications at her residence in Dhaka.

She was 103 years old at the time of her death. She had been suffering from various age-related complications for a long time.

Following the death of Amina Begum, a shadow of mourning has fallen over her family, relatives and well-wishers. Family members have asked everyone to pray for the forgiveness of the departed soul.
