He said these things while speaking to people gathered at a madrasa field in Manikpotol village of Dhunat Upazila in Bogura on Saturday morning.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that efforts are being made to raise the people's suffering in the National Parliament. However, alleging that the government is not allowing them to speak, he said that they have been forced to take to the streets to secure the people's rights.

Earlier in the morning, the Jamaat Amir visited the grave of Abdul Malek, known as the first martyr of the Islamic education movement in the same village. At that time, he recited Fatiha and offered prayers. Later, he exchanged views with members of martyr Abdul Malek's family.

On the occasion of Dr. Shafiqur Rahman's arrival, a huge number of people gathered at the madrasa field. At that time, Jamaat's Nayeb-e-Amir ATM Azharul Islam, Executive Council member Principal Shahbuddin, Dhunat Upazila Jamaat Amir Maulana Aminul Islam and local leaders were present.

Earlier, arriving in Bogura on Friday night, the Jamaat Amir stayed at the Circuit House. On Saturday around 5:15 am, he left for Dhunat.
