Mir Shahe Alam said, dengue must be prevented at any cost. It is not just a campaign for a specific period; breeding grounds of Aedes mosquitoes must be identified and destroyed throughout the year. He called upon citizens, families, educational institutions and volunteer organizations to come forward in this work alongside government agencies.

He said the main objective of the program is to destroy Aedes mosquito breeding grounds and raise public awareness. If water accumulates anywhere, including under-construction buildings, legal action will be taken against those responsible. He also warned that if negligence is found, fines and imprisonment may be imposed through mobile courts.
