Noting that the next three months are extremely important for dengue, he said that the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes and the spread of dengue occur from water accumulated in and around houses. Therefore, everyone must conduct cleanliness activities with awareness from their respective positions.
He said these things to journalists after the rally of ‘Countrywide Dengue Prevention and Cleanliness Campaign 2026’ organized by the Tangail District Administration.
The State Minister said, it will not be enough for us to be aware ourselves; people around us must also be made aware. Everyone must keep an eye on ensuring that water does not accumulate anywhere. If preventive measures are taken collectively, it is possible to control the incidence of various diseases, including dengue, to a large extent.
He said, alongside the government, ordinary people must also play an active role in preventing dengue. If everyone performs their respective responsibilities, cleanliness activities will become more effective and it will be possible to keep the spread of dengue under control.
