South Korean Ambassador Kim Ji-jun emphasized easing visa and work permit processes, creating an investment-friendly tariff structure, and ensuring uninterrupted energy supply to increase South Korea's investment in Bangladesh.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a seminar titled ‘Review of the National Budget 2026-2027’, organized by the Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry at a hotel in Banani in the capital recently.

He said South Korea's cooperation in Bangladesh's industrial development and technology transfer will continue. If uninterrupted energy supply to industries can be ensured, long-term investment will increase further.

KBCCI President Shahab Uddin Khan, NBR Member Md. Moazzem Hossain, and Invest Bangladesh Executive Member Nahian Rahman, along with business leaders, government officials, and representatives of Korean institutions from both countries, were present at the seminar.
