Progress in digital services under the Ministry of Land's 180-day action plan
To make land management more transparent, modern, and citizen-friendly, the Ministry of Land has implemented various initiatives under the 180-day priority action plan. These initiatives have been taken to expand online services, digital record management, use of technology, and legal reforms.

On 19-21 May, the nationwide ‘Land Services Fair 2026’ was organized. During this time, various services including mutation, land development tax, certified copies, and mouza maps were provided. To deliver services at the grassroots level, an initiative has been taken to establish 1,286 ‘Land Service Support Centers’.

In addition, the Land Use Control and Agricultural Land Protection Act and the Immovable Property Acquisition and Requisition Rules, 2026 have been published in the form of a gazette. A total of 1,240 personnel have been recruited against vacant posts, and 321 Kanungos and 25 additional land acquisition officers have been promoted. Alongside, land zoning maps for 100 upazilas have been prepared, and various initiatives have been taken for the management of new char lands and jalmahals.
