At a ceremony held in the Cabinet Division's meeting room at the Secretariat on Thursday (September 17), the Prime Minister said that this achievement of Bangladeshi huffaz on the international stage is a matter of pride for the country. The government will try to give state recognition to the good achievements of the country's children through talent and merit.

The Prime Minister said that if the talented are encouraged and properly evaluated, future generations and the country will reap its benefits. He also assured that if government cooperation is needed to participate in international competitions, necessary measures will be taken if informed according to the rules.

Among the contestants from 133 countries in the competition, Hafez Mohammad Zakaria secured first place, Sheikh Mohammad Mahmudul Hasan Ashrafi second, and Hafiza Rabeta bint Ramadan and Hafiza Musfira bint Mahmud third.

At the event, the Prime Minister presented books as gifts to the winners. At that time, Minister of Religious Affairs Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad, State Minister Shamim Kaisar, Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani, Prime Minister's Chief Secretary A B M Abdus Sattar and others concerned were present.
