During the visit, he attended the opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games held in Aichi-Nagoya and watched Bangladeshi athletes compete in various events and encouraged them.

He also participated in a bilateral meeting with President of the Olympic Council of Asia Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani and an exchange of views with presidents of Olympic associations from various countries.

Concerned quarters believe that these high-level meetings will contribute to the development of Bangladesh's sports sector, increasing international cooperation, and further strengthening Bangladesh's participation in global sports.
