On Monday (September 21), the minister spoke with the injured undergoing treatment at the two hospitals. He also handed over Tk 50,000 in financial assistance on behalf of the government to the family of the deceased Nazrul Islam.

Abdul Moyeen Khan said that on the instructions of Prime Minister Tareq Rahman, they came to the hospital to inquire about the victims of the fire. Instructions have been given to the concerned to ensure necessary treatment for the injured, and the government stands by the affected families.

Labour and Employment Minister Ariful Haque Chowdhury said necessary measures are being taken for the proper treatment of the injured. On behalf of the government, Tk 50,000 is being given as assistance to each family of the deceased and injured.

He said an investigation committee has already been formed to investigate the cause of the accident. Necessary measures will be taken after receiving the report.
