At the event held at 1:30 pm today, the chief guest was Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Sheikh Rabiul Alam. The special guest was State Minister Md. Rajib Ahsan. The event was chaired by Secretary of the Bridges Division and Executive Director of the Bangladesh Bridge Authority, Mohammad Abdur Rouf.

At the beginning of the event, the guests planted trees on the Setu Bhaban premises. The program was organized precisely to maintain environmental balance and ensure a green working environment.

Later, an auditorium equipped with modern facilities was inaugurated. It will be used for various institutional activities including official meetings, seminars, training, workshops, and exchange of views. At the inauguration ceremony, a presentation was made on the Bridge Authority's development activities, innovative initiatives, and future plans.

In his speech as chief guest, Sheikh Rabiul Alam said that alongside infrastructural development, environmental protection must also be given priority. He emphasized continuing such initiatives to increase institutional efficiency and build an environmentally friendly work culture.
