Saudi Arabia eases process for bringing families of skilled workers
The country's government has eased the process of bringing families of skilled foreign workers to Saudi Arabia. From now on, applications for entry visas for family members can be made before the worker's work visa process is fully completed.

This measure has been launched through a joint initiative of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The government's goal is to simplify the visa process for highly skilled foreign workers as well as improve the standard of living of people residing in Saudi Arabia.

Under the new rules, highly skilled foreign workers will be able to bring their spouse, sons under 25 years of age, and unmarried daughters to Saudi Arabia. Entry visas for family members can be issued while the worker's work visa process is ongoing.

As a result, workers will not have to wait until their own work visa is completed to bring family members to Saudi Arabia. However, to get this benefit, the specified conditions must be met.

The ministry said that after family members arrive in Saudi Arabia, the process of granting residence permits will be completed in accordance with the country's laws and regulations.
