For motorcycles other than scooters, the number plate dimensions have been set at 285 mm long and 50 mm wide.
The number plate must be made of stainless steel or aluminum. It must use black Bengali letters and numbers on a white background. The height of the letters and numbers must be at least 20 mm, and no decorative design may be kept.
On motorcycles other than scooters, the registration number must be displayed horizontally on one line. BRTA has warned that legal action will be taken against the owners concerned if number plates are not attached in accordance with the rules within the stipulated time.
