Opposition party has started a new drama on the streets: Rizvi
BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has remarked that to conceal internal conflicts and failures of their own party, the opposition party has started a new drama on the streets in the name of a movement.

He said these things on Saturday (17 October) at a protest rally organized in front of the National Press Club in the capital against Awami League's planned anarchy and conspiracy across the country. The Nationalist Textile Engineers Association of Bangladesh (JETEB) organized the rally.

Rizvi said although the country is going through various crises, the opposition party is not playing a constructive role. Rather, he alleged, it is trying to mislead the people through various programs to hide its own failures.

Highlighting the consequences of authoritarian rule, this BNP leader said no ruler can ultimately survive by injustice and misrule. He also remarked that when the people rise up, those in power have to step down.

Regarding Durga Puja, Rizvi said BNP leaders and activists have been instructed to remain alert so that followers of Sanatan religion can celebrate the festival in a peaceful and safe environment. He also emphasized establishing the rule of law and ensuring justice for all crimes.
