At a ceremony held on Friday afternoon at the auditorium of Markaz Bhaban in Purana Paltan, the capital, the new committee was announced and the officials were administered the oath.

The chief guest at the event was the party's senior joint secretary general, Engineer Ashraful Alam. He said women's role is important in building civilization, the mental development of children, and forming the right perspective. He also emphasized ensuring women's dignity and security.

Special guest the party's joint secretary general, Principal Hafez Maulana Sheikh Fazle Bari Masoud, said the newly formed women's unit must play an effective role in restoring women's true dignity in society by establishing Islamic values.

Among other officials of the committee, Zakera Rahman, Fatima Akter, and Sayeda Maksooda Akter have been made vice-chairpersons. Hafiza Bushra as joint secretary, Rexona Jahan Zubaida as organizing secretary, and Sauda Masruba as assistant organizing secretary have been given responsibilities.

In addition, names of officials were announced for various posts, including female students' organization management, relief and social welfare, training, office, finance, publicity and dawah, elections and public representatives, and communication. Nine people have also been kept as executive members of the committee.
