Eleven senior officers holding the ranks of Additional Deputy Police Commissioner and Assistant Superintendent of Police have been transferred and posted to different units.
Separate notifications in this regard were issued from the Personal Management-1 branch of the Police Headquarters on Sunday (October 18).

The notification signed by IGP Ali Hossain Fakir said that the transferred officers must hand over responsibilities at their current workplaces by October 27; otherwise, they will be considered immediately released (stand release) from October 28.

In addition, in another separate notification, the earlier order transferring Md. Abu Hasan, Assistant Commissioner of Police of DMP, to SB as Assistant Superintendent of Police has been cancelled. It was also stated that this order will take effect immediately.
