The information was disclosed in the regular health bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services on Tuesday (20 October). The report was published based on data collected from 8am on 19 October to 8am on 20 October.

According to the report, from 15 March to 20 October, the number of suspected measles patients in the country stood at 225,768. Among them, the number of confirmed measles patients is 23,999. So far, a total of 1,300 people have died from suspected measles, while 104 have died from confirmed measles. However, no one died from confirmed measles in the last 24 hours.

The Directorate General of Health Services said that so far 191,761 people have been admitted to hospital with suspected measles, of whom 184,168 have recovered and been discharged.
