Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) has again reduced gold prices in the country's market. Under the new decision, the price of one bhori of 22-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 2,158 and fixed at Tk 224,182.
This information was announced in a Bajus notice on Friday (23 October) morning. The new prices took effect across the country from 10 am the same day.

Bajus said the new prices were determined considering the overall situation as the price of Tejabi gold decreased in the local market.

According to the new price list, the price per bhori of 21-carat gold is Tk 214,093, 18-carat gold is Tk 183,883, and traditional gold is Tk 150,232.
According to Bajus calculations, one bhori of gold weighs 11.664 grams.
