Consequences will have to be faced for obstructing the burial of a freedom fighter: Information Adviser
Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, has remarked that those involved in the incident of obstructing the burial of a freedom fighter will have to face consequences. He said this on Tuesday (27 October) at a press briefing organized on the progress of various government activities.

The Information Adviser said that information has been found that a political party is involved in this incident, which is extremely sad. No one accepts such treatment of a person's body after death. After death, a person's judgment will be with the Creator alone. Therefore, those who commit such reprehensible acts will not receive any praise or support in society.

Regarding recent extremist activities and child abuse in Tongi, Dr. Zahed said the government is viewing these incidents with utmost importance, and the accused in the Tongi incident has already been arrested. If strict enforcement of the law continues, such crimes will decrease quickly. Besides, he also made clear that after former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's press conference in Washington, there has been no change in Bangladesh's foreign policy or the government's position.
