Students must be made science-minded: Education Minister
Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon has remarked that students must be made science-minded by integrating modern science and technology into education. He said this today, Saturday (31 October), while speaking as chief guest at the closing ceremony of the 'BNMPC National Science Carnival 2026' held at Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College in the capital.

The Education Minister said that the current government has allocated the highest budget to the education sector. From 2028, new textbooks will be introduced under the revised curriculum. Before that, in the 2027 academic year, students will be given four new books. He also announced plans for ‘One Teacher, One Tab’, multimedia classrooms and monitoring of digital teaching. Praising the students' science projects, he further said that these innovations can be implemented through industry-academia collaboration. Besides, he advised those who failed in the recently published HSC examination not to be disappointed and to try to do well with renewed enthusiasm.
