Terming the government's activities over the past eight months a complete failure, Nahid Islam said ordinary people are fed up with the deterioration of the law and order situation and repeated increases in LPG gas prices. Stating that the workers' demand for a wage increase is logical, he said NCP will stand by their demand. At the same time, criticizing BNP, he said the party is giving shelter and patronage to Awami League across the country. Party leaders and activists are being favored through fertilizer dealerships and family cards. Yet they are not taking a stand in favor of the workers' legitimate demands.
