He said these things as the chief guest at the prize-giving ceremony of a Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) seminar and essay competition held on Sunday (August 23) at the auditorium of the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) in Kakrail, Dhaka.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, the people who woke up in 24 have not all died, nor have they fallen asleep. They are observing everything with vigilant eyes. Before the main war, forces are formed, they have to practice and rehearse. They should not consider 24 as the final battle. It was a rehearsal for the final battle. After 2024, we had hoped that the 'foulness, dirt and garbage' of fascism that had been building for a long time would be cleaned up. But that did not happen; rather, the amount of garbage has increased further.
The Jamaat Ameer said, fascism is an infectious disease. It spreads from one place to another. Whoever this virus infects becomes a fascist. We can see that the path the 15-year fascist government walked on, the current government is also walking on that same path. This path must be changed. This is the path of fascists, this is the path of Aynaghar, this is the path of killing countless people without trial. The people of Bangladesh will not allow anyone to walk on that path.
