Supreme Court senior lawyer and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central leader Advocate Shishir Monir has made a special request to the government to protect the education of Sifat Abdullah, who is in jail on allegations of abusing concerned government officials after claiming that an excessive electricity bill had been issued at home.

He said, ‘Mr. Prime Minister, Home Minister, Law Minister and Education Minister, please protect Sifat's education. Do not let his education be ruined.’

Yesterday, Thursday (September 10), he made this request in a post on his Facebook account on social media.
