US pressuring Israel to rebuild Gaza
The United States is increasing pressure on Israel to advance post-war reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip. To this end, Washington has presented a proposal to Israel to begin reconstruction without the condition of Hamas surrendering its weapons.

This information was reported in a report published by Middle East Eye on Tuesday (June 30).

The report states that the United States is trying to persuade Israel to begin reconstruction efforts in Gaza as part of implementing the post-war plan of the Donald Trump administration.

According to the proposal, Washington is seeking written approval or consent from Israel regarding the start of reconstruction in Gaza. The report also mentions that this aims to limit the possibility of launching new military operations after the ceasefire.

The US proposal calls for rapid approval for rebuilding key infrastructure in Gaza, with particular emphasis on restoring water supply, electricity networks, and other essential service infrastructure.

However, no official comment has been received so far from either the US or Israeli government on this matter.
