According to the Ministry of Education's working paper, 2,697 centers and 9,439 educational institutions have been prepared for this year's exams. The exams will be held with common question papers across the 9 general education boards.
HSC and equivalent exams start Thursday, over 12 lakh 70 thousand candidates participating
To ensure a fair, smooth, and cheating-free environment, CCTV cameras have been installed at all centers. Additionally, a central CCTV monitoring cell has been formed at the Ministry of Education, from which any exam center in the country can be monitored directly. Moreover, police officers on duty at centers have been provided with body-worn cameras.
This year, exams will be held in 77 subjects over 21 days. On days without exams, regular class activities will continue at educational institutions. Venue centers known for cheating have been canceled. However, considering the commuting convenience of students in haor, hilly, and remote char areas, some venue centers have been retained.

Meanwhile, for candidates from the Seventh-day Adventist community, Saturday exams will be held after sunset under special arrangements.
According to statistics, the number of candidates has increased by 19,472 compared to 2025. Last year, the total number of candidates was 12,51,111, which has now risen to 12,70,583. Meanwhile, the number of exam centers has decreased from 2,797 to 2,697, but the number of participating institutions has increased from 9,314 to 9,439.
