Opposition leader and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that the non-implementation of the referendum verdict has created a crisis in the country's politics. He made this comment on Wednesday (July 1) morning at a citizens' rally and exchange meeting organized to address the public suffering in Dhaka-15 constituency.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that the existing problems of the country can be resolved quickly through the combined efforts of the government, opposition parties, and the general public.
Regarding the budget for the fiscal year 2026-27, he said, “As I had anticipated, this year's budget is very close to that.”
Seeking everyone's cooperation in improving the law and order situation, the Jamaat Ameer said that the police must be assisted in effectively performing their duties. At the same time, he advised families to be more aware of their children's movements, friends, and associations.
