One of the biggest advantages of Speed Post is low-cost parcel transportation. The postal charge for the first 1 kg has been set at only Tk 10. For each additional kg, only Tk 5 must be paid. For the convenience of customers, the Postal Department has also launched a digital calculator to calculate postal charges online before sending parcels.

The service also includes digital tracking facilities. After booking, the location of the parcel can be known anytime online using the tracking number. Through the post office network extending up to the union level, parcels can be easily sent and received even from remote areas.

To send a parcel, the customer only needs to take the product to the nearest designated post office. After paying the prescribed charge, a receipt with a tracking number will be provided. The Postal Department is working with the goal of delivering parcels within 24 hours within Dhaka and within a maximum of 48 hours outside Dhaka.

For customers in the capital, Speed Post services are available from a total of 21 sub-post offices, including Dhaka GPO, Gulshan, Banani, Mirpur, Uttara, Khilgaon, Motijheel, Dhanmondi, and Wari.

Additionally, for information, complaints, or assistance regarding Speed Post and other services of the Postal Department, there is also the opportunity to directly contact the officers in charge of the respective circles.
