Opposition leader in the National Parliament and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, is going to visit various areas of Chattogram affected by continuous rainfall, hill torrents, and landslides.
The information was provided in a press release from the party's central publicity department.
The press release stated that on Friday (July 10) morning, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will visit various areas of Chattogram affected by floods and landslides. During this time, he will inquire about the affected families and become informed about their current situation.
Additionally, during the visit, he will exchange views with local administration officials, Jamaat leaders and activists, and relevant individuals.
The press release further stated that during the visit, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will also observe the overall situation of the affected areas and the ongoing rescue and relief operations.
