Two US soldiers were killed in an Iranian missile and drone attack in Jordan. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said another soldier is missing.
In a statement on Saturday, CENTCOM said the two soldiers were killed while repelling an Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack on US and coalition forces stationed in Jordan on Friday.
According to the Pentagon, a total of 16 US soldiers have been killed so far in the ongoing conflict. Additionally, more than 430 soldiers have been reported wounded.
US authorities said search operations are underway for the missing US soldier.
