Patrolling BGB members detected the matter and immediately prevented them from entering Bangladesh. Later, in the face of the firm stance of BGB members and locals, the individuals returned to Indian territory via the river.

Commander of Kushtia 47 BGB Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Rashed Kamal Rony, said BGB is always vigilant and ready to prevent any kind of illegal infiltration and attempts to violate border laws at the border.
