Preliminary registration for Hajj 2027 starts from July 27
Preliminary registration for Hajj 2027 will begin from next July 27. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the registration process will continue until September 24. Within this period, individuals wishing to perform Hajj must complete their preliminary registration.

The schedule has been set according to the Hajj roadmap published by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

How much money is needed for registration

Both government and private channels—preliminary registration can be done by depositing three lakh fifty thousand taka. However, before that, depositing 30 thousand taka and completing pre-registration is mandatory.

Those who complete preliminary registration must pay the remaining amount of the Hajj package and complete final registration by December 10 of the current year.

Where can registration be done

Through the government channel, one can register by creating a user account on the e-Hajj system (hajj.gov.bd).

  • Union Digital Centers
  • Divisional and district offices of the Islamic Foundation
  • District and upazila model mosques
  • Baitul Mukarram Islamic Foundation office
  • Dhaka Hajj Office

For registration through the government channel, money must be deposited via voucher at any branch of Sonali Bank. For registration through the private channel, the amount must be deposited in the designated bank account of the respective Hajj agency.

Who cannot go for Hajj

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Religious Affairs—

  • Anyone under 15 years of age cannot go for Hajj.
  • Individuals with serious heart, lung, liver, or kidney diseases.
  • Individuals with neurological or mental illness and dementia.
  • Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, biological therapy, or radiotherapy.
  • Individuals with infectious diseases such as tuberculosis or hemorrhagic fever.
  • Women in the last two months of pregnancy or with high-risk pregnancy.

Additional instructions

During preliminary registration, pilgrims must—

  • Select the district for training and vaccination.
  • Select the type and package of Hajj.
  • The passport must be valid until December 31, 2027.
