The fair, held as part of 'Sino-Bangla Day,' was launched at a grand ceremony on Monday morning and will continue throughout the day, offering students a significant opportunity for employment.
Approximately 30 to 40 leading Chinese industrial groups and enterprises are participating in the fair. Over 430 vacancies are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students of Dhaka University, spanning key sectors such as information technology, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and multinational commercial enterprises. Arrangements have been made for CV submission and preliminary interviews at the venue.
Speakers at the inauguration said the initiative will further strengthen bilateral relations between Bangladesh and China. The fair will act as a bridge connecting skilled students directly to the corporate sector. Representatives of DUCSU said that such international collaborations will continue in the future to support students' career development.
