The Indian government has not yet clarified exactly under what 'immigration status' Sheikh Hasina is in India. Earlier, India's foreign ministry had said that Hasina was not allowed to use Indian soil for political activities. Bangladesh has already called upon India to extradite Sheikh Hasina.
