Fuel oil prices rise in global market
Due to fears of disruption to fuel supplies amid the conflict between the United States and Iran, crude oil prices rose for the fourth consecutive day in the international market. On Wednesday (August 19), Brent crude prices rose by 26 cents or 0.29 percent per barrel to reach $91.28.

On the other hand, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was being traded at $85.31 per barrel, up 37 cents.

After July 24, fuel oil prices reached their highest point on Tuesday. With hopes of peace between Washington and Tehran fading and contradictory statements from both countries over shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, investors have been left worried.
