He said these things as the chief guest in a views-exchange meeting with Ulama-Mashaikh and Imams of mosques organized on the occasion of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) in Motijheel, the capital, on Saturday.
Dr. Helal Uddin said, if the Quran is embraced and the state is run according to its injunctions, the welfare of the people will be ensured. He called upon the scholar community to play a selfless role in establishing the ideals of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in individual, family, society and state.
He further said, to change the fate of the people, not only a change of ideology but also a change of the state system is necessary. State reform is possible only by following the ideals of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH). Scholars from various levels and Jamaat leaders were present at the event.
