The day-long event, titled “14th Anniversary Celebration 2026,” brought together former classmates and friends from different parts of the country. The gathering turned into a vibrant reunion filled with memories, conversations, laughter, food, photographs and gifts.
Organized by SSC 2002 and HSC 2004 Bangladesh, the event provided an opportunity for old friends to reconnect and relive memories from their school and college days.
A Day to Enjoy, Not Just to Take Photos
Sharing his experience of the event, Golam Shawon Rahman said that he spent the entire programme sitting in one corner and enjoying the occasion rather than taking photographs.
“I went to the programme to enjoy it, not to take pictures. I managed to collect a few photographs from some friends’ mobile phones. You could say they were borrowed photographs. Nevertheless, August 28 was a wonderful day from beginning to end,” he said.
Expressing his gratitude to the friends who took photographs with him despite their busy schedules, he added, “Let the future be victorious, bringing together the lost and the old, the past and the present. A programme means a reunion of friends. May beautiful relationships live forever. Let hatred and separation disappear, and may the world be illuminated with light.”
He also thanked the 0204 group for presenting such a beautiful programme for their friends.
Another participant, Kaiser Ahmed Anan, expressed deep gratitude and love to all the friends whose tireless efforts and selfless dedication made the 14th anniversary celebration a success.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude and love to all those friends whose tireless efforts and selfless affection made the 14th anniversary of our beloved SSC 2002 and HSC 2004 Bangladesh group successful,” he said.
Anan noted that he could not take photographs with everyone because many of the participants were busy with different responsibilities during the event. However, he thoroughly enjoyed the programme.
He also praised the food and gifts provided at the event. Among the food items, he particularly enjoyed the cake, zarda, Gramika’s date-palm-jaggery murali and coconut naru. Among the gifts, the water pot was his favourite.
He also praised the quality of the T-shirt provided as a gift, saying, “The T-shirt is very soft. It feels like I am not wearing anything. The quality of the fabric is very good.”
Anan particularly praised the organizers and volunteers for their dedication and hard work.
“Overall, the programme became so well-organized and successful because of the tireless efforts of all the organizing friends and volunteer friends. Alhamdulillah,” he said.
Expressing his emotions, he added, “I am grateful and overwhelmed by the sincere love and affection you have shown me.”
The anniversary celebration was more than just an annual gathering. It became an opportunity for old friends to strengthen their relationships, share memories and celebrate the bond they have maintained over the years.
The event reflected the spirit of friendship—bringing together the past and present while looking forward to the future with hope and positivity.
The participants expressed their hope that the bonds of friendship, mutual respect and affection would remain strong in the years ahead.
The 14th anniversary celebration of SSC 2002 and HSC 2004 Bangladesh at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University thus became a memorable reunion filled with friendship, nostalgia, gratitude and heartfelt emotions.
