Gold prices fall again in the country
Gold prices have fallen again in the country's market. The new prices took effect from 10am on Friday (September 11).

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has said that the price of 22-carat gold per bhori has decreased by Tk 2,158 to Tk 231,880.

In addition, the per-bhori price of 21-carat gold has been set at Tk 221,441, 18-carat at Tk 190,123, and traditional-method gold at Tk 155,306.

BAJUS said new rates have been fixed as the price of Tejabi gold decreased in the local market. These prices will remain effective until the next decision. However, labour charges will apply according to the jewellery design.

Earlier, on September 9 and 6, gold prices were also reduced in the country's market in two phases.
