He testified in an enforced disappearance case at the International Crimes Tribunal-1 around 11 am on Thursday. Major Sabbir claimed that in May 2010, members of the intelligence wing of RAB-8 carried out the incident in the presence and on the instructions of Ziaul Ahsan, then chief of RAB's intelligence wing.

In his testimony, he said that four people were taken by fishing trawler to the Baleshwar River at Charduani in Patharghata. There, after their faces and entire bodies were covered, they were killed.

Earlier, on September 2, trawler boatman Abbas Mallik testified in the same case. He alleged that Ziaul Ahsan used to shoot people brought from various places, and later their bodies were thrown into the river with cement sacks tied to their necks or legs.

Abbas Mallik also said that as a result of cutting the prisoners' stomachs and shooting them in the head, blood and body parts would spread on the trawler. Later, they would wash the trawler and return to the ice mill in Charduani.
