The state minister said it is not possible to control the law and order situation of an entire area single-handedly with a limited number of police members at a police station. Therefore, it is necessary to form a coordination committee to increase coordination between the police and the public.

Referring to the ‘zero tolerance’ policy in anti-drug operations, he directed conducting house-to-house operations according to the list of drug traffickers. He also called upon public representatives and the general public to play an active role in eliminating drugs.

Calling on journalists to play a role in preventing anarchy created through false propaganda and misleading information, he said the police must also remain vigilant so that no innocent person is subjected to harassment. He also instructed police officers that false cases must not be filed under any circumstances.

After the meeting, the state minister distributed leaflets to create public awareness to prevent dengue. At the time, he emphasized destroying dengue breeding grounds by conducting regular cleanliness campaigns. Leaders and activists of Nandail Upazila BNP and its affiliated organizations participated in the program.
