Police said that amid a dispute between two sides over land, one side, unable to go to their land, came there with people. At that time, amid the dispute, Salman Muktadir's studio also came under attack and vandalism. Three people were arrested from the scene with local weapons.

After the attack, victim Salman Muktadir said in a video posted on social media that there was important client footage and shooting equipment in the studio. As those were damaged or lost, besides financial loss, problems were also created in professional work.

Salman alleged that BNP people were involved in the attack. However, no statement was available from any concerned BNP leader or activist regarding his allegation. Police have also so far not disclosed detailed political identities of the arrested persons or their involvement in the attack.

He said the studio is not just his business establishment; the employment and creative work of many young men and women are involved with it. Even though there was damage, he expressed determination to start work again from here without stopping work.

Salman Muktadir said he would file a case over the attack. However, until the report was written, the matter of the case had not been officially confirmed. Police also did not confirm the amount of damage and the full identities of the attackers.
