On Monday, in a post on his Facebook account, Sarwar Tushar claimed that Mabruk Al Islam Joad, son of Manowar Hossain, former president of Dimla Upazila BNP in Nilphamari, has been appointed as a fertilizer dealer. He claimed that Joad was a former Assistant Secretary of the Jahangirnagar University unit of Chhatra League and was expelled from the university for life in connection with attacks on students during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
In the post, he further claimed that Tanvir Rafsan, son of Golam Rabbani Pradhan, former organizing secretary of Dimla Upazila BNP, has become a fertilizer dealer of Dimla Sadar Union. Sarwar Tushar also mentioned that he is a second-year student at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET).
This NCP leader alleged that across the country, family members and relatives of MPs and influential political leaders have received fertilizer dealerships. Also raising allegations of money transactions in these appointments, he quoted the comment ‘Everything is a game of money’ in the post.
However, the post did not mention the statements of the relevant authorities regarding these allegations.
