In the first week of November, teachers and students of government and private schools, colleges, and primary schools across the country are set to get three consecutive days off.
According to the holiday list of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, after the weekly holiday on November 6 (Friday), this three-day holiday opportunity has been created due to National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7 (Saturday) and Shyama Puja on November 8 (Sunday).

However, for universities and technical and madrasa educational institutions, the holiday matter will depend on the respective authorities' own academic calendars and instructions. Since Shyama Puja is not mentioned in the holiday lists of Dhaka and Rajshahi universities and the Directorate of Madrasa Education, the holiday matter at these institutions is not yet confirmed.
