During the visit, the President of Yunnan University, Professor Ma Wenhui, proposed long-term cooperation between Bangladesh and Yunnan University in various fields, including education, medical science, artificial intelligence, and tourism, as well as the establishment of a joint research laboratory. He also expressed interest in launching curricula for Chinese language and technical skills training for Bangladeshi students and teachers.

Senior Secretary Abdul Khaleque praised the long-standing academic relations between the two countries and said that Bangladesh attaches special importance to expanding technical and Chinese language education. He expressed Bangladesh's interest in strengthening student and teacher exchanges and joint training initiatives. At the same time, he invited Professor Ma Wenhui to visit Bangladesh and called for building partnerships with educational institutions in the country.
