'Shishu Swarga' project in 22 upazilas and initiative for inclusion in mainstream education
State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. M A Muht said the government views the rights and services of persons with disabilities not as charity, but as constitutional and civil rights. Work is underway with a coordinated action plan of different ministries under the Inter-Ministerial Coordination and Implementation Committee on Disability Rights and Service Protection to ensure that every person with disabilities can enjoy equal rights like all other ordinary citizens.
