The statement said that NCP has alleged that BNP activists attacked the convoy of chief organizer Sarjis Alam and chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari while returning after the party's peaceful march program in Habiganj. Expressing strong condemnation and protest against this incident, the party has decided to hold programs across the country.

NCP has instructed all its metropolitan, district, upazila, and thana branches to organize protest and demonstration rallies in their respective areas.

The notice further said that the relevant organizational units have been asked to take necessary preparations and ensure the timely presence of leaders and activists for the peaceful and orderly implementation of the program.

Earlier, on Tuesday evening, allegations surfaced of an attack on the convoy of NCP chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari and chief organizer Sarjis Alam while returning after a march in front of the Town Hall area of Habiganj city. The party claimed that several journalists and NCP activists were injured in the incident. Later, police rescued them from the scene.
