He expressed deep interest in recruiting skilled and professional workers from Bangladesh in important sectors including healthcare, construction, IT and hospitality.
He informed that the Wage Protection System and insurance have already been ensured to protect workers' rights. Besides, he assured that if detailed information about Bangladeshi workers detained in deportation jails is sent through diplomatic channels, the Saudi government will work seriously on their pardon.
At this important bilateral meeting, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Abdullah Jaafar H. bin Abia, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Dr. Shakirul Islam Khan, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment were present.
