The 11-party alliance has started a long march from Dhaka towards Chattogram with six demands. The program began on Saturday (September 5) morning from Shapla Chattar in Motijheel, the capital.
The formalities of the long march began with an inaugural rally at 7am. Leaders, activists and supporters of the alliance parties participated in it. The rally began with recitation from the holy Quran.

Roadside meetings are scheduled to be held at several places along the march route, including Kachpur Bridge in Narayanganj, Padua Bazar Bishwa Road in Cumilla, Mahipal in Feni and Mirsarai.

In the final phase of the day's program, the long march is scheduled to conclude with a rally at Lal Dighi Maidan in Chattogram.
