He said these things at a protest rally of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal in Nayapaltan in the capital on Monday afternoon. The rally was organized to protest allegations of anarchy, conspiracy, and propaganda after the ban on Awami League's activities.
Nazrul Islam Khan said genuine BNP leaders and activists are not involved in wrongdoing, oppression, extortion, or land grabbing for their own interests. If anyone is involved in such activities using the party's name, action will be taken against them.
Highlighting the role of working people in the country's production and development, he said the country's economy and daily life depend largely on the labor of workers. He called on everyone, including working people, to play a responsible role in maintaining peace and stability.
Noting that political instability and violence can harm industry, workers, and the law and order situation, he called on everyone to remain united. He also remarked that the current government needs to be given sufficient time to discharge its duties.
